In addition to the Victoria Park Splash Pad and Town Beaches, the following air conditioned spaces are open to the public:

Maitland Recreation Centre

6 AM - 10 PM Monday to Friday

8 AM - 6 PM Saturday

8 AM - 4 PM Sunday

Goderich Library

10 AM - 8 PM Monday to Thursday

10 AM - 5PM Friday and Saturday

Goderich Town Hall

8 AM - 4 PM Monday to Friday

With the exception of the Splash Pad and Beaches, the above locations will be closed on Canada Day

Downtown Rebuilding Infrastructure Project Phases 3 & 4

Please be advised that:

  • This project involves full reconstruction of roads, sidewalks, sewers, water main replacements, and streetlights
  • Installation of construction fencing and construction equipment will be mobilized the week of April 7, 2026
  • Construction is anticipated to continue throughout spring, summer and into the fall season
