2026 Municipal & School Board Elections - Voting Opens Next Week!

Voting opens next week!

The 2026 Town of Goderich Municipal & School Board Elections are just five days away. Voting opens on October 13, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. and closes Monday, October 26, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Identical to the voting methods used for the 2018 and 2022 Municipal Elections, all electors in Huron County municipalities will be voting by internet and telephone only. During the voting period, voters will be able to cast their vote remotely using their own devices (i.e. laptop, smartphone, or tablet) in the comfort of their own home, at a time that most suits their schedule.

If access to a telephone or internet connection is unavailable to you, a Voter Help Centre for the Town of Goderich electors is being provided with internet access at the Town Hall located at 57 West Street.

To help voters prepare, Simply Voting has provided a video demonstrating the voting process for the 2026 elections. The video provides a step by step walkthrough on how voters can cast their vote through either internet or telephone.

Watch the video to learn more about the voting process and be prepared to vote when voting opens next week!
