Mayor for the Day

Nominations are now closed for the 2025 Mayor for a Day Contest.

Mayor for a Day is a unique and exciting opportunity for local youth from around Town to learn more about municipal politics and civic issues. 

Two streams are available:

• Grade 5 and 6 Contest
• Grade 9 to 12 Contest

The winners of the Mayor of the Day will:

• Open a Council meeting
• Get a tour of Municipal facilities
• Spend time with the Mayor
• Receive a pizza party for their class.
