E-Scooter Information and Regulations
The Huron County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding residents to understand local regulations before operating electric scooters (e-scooters) and similar motorized devices.
Huron County has not adopted the e-scooter pilot program and currently restricts the operation of all motorized scooters on public roads and sidewalks. Before purchasing or operating an e-scooter, Huron County residents should be aware that these devices may only be operated on private property and are not permitted on public roads, sidewalks, trails, or highways.
