Our fire department relies on various specialized vehicles for firefighting and rescue operations. Here are some of our key vehicles:
Pumper #14:
Details: 2010 Spartan Metro Star MFD with a Crimson Fire system.
Features:
- 1500 GPM Pump
- 700-gallon onboard tan
- FoamPro Foam system
Usage: Front-line truck for all fire-related emergencies, responds to every call.
Ladder #15:
Details: 2019 Rosenbauer Commander R6000 with a 100' Viper Single Axle.
Features:
- 100' low-profile steel ladder
- 400-gallon onboard water tank
- 1500 GPM pump
- 1000' large diameter hose
- Ground ladder set
- Operates with Rosenbauer's "Aerial Smart Technology" and wireless controls
Usage: Responds to all calls in Goderich and provides mutual aid to surrounding municipalities.
Rescue #12:
Details: 2003 International / Dependable.
Features:
- Supports car accidents, technical rescue, HAZMAT, and medical assists.
- Equipped with extra air bottles, Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) gear, and accountability tools.
Usage: Responds to all emergency calls.
Tanker #16:
Details: 2023 Freightliner M2 112 tandem / Rosenbauer.
Features:
- 3000-gallon water capacity
- 500 GPM pump with “pump and roll” technology
Usage: Serves fire emergencies outside Goderich and offers mutual aid.
Car #1:
Details: 2024 Ford F150 / Dependable.
