A sign permit grants official permission from the Town to start construction or to display a sign. This ensures your sign plans comply with the Ontario Building Code, local zoning bylaws, and other regulations.
A Sign Permit is required for various sign types, including but not limited to:
- Sandwich Board Signs
- Free-Standing/Ground Signs
- Directional Signs
- Fascia & Projecting Signs
- Roof Signs
- Temporary Signs
- Canopies & Awnings
How to Apply:
- To apply for a Sign Permit, complete the Sign Permit Application Form.
- If you would like a Sandwich Board Sign, complete the Sandwich Board Sign Agreement and hand it in to the Building Department.
