Economic Development Committee Citizen Representatives 

The Town of Goderich is seeking 5 citizen representatives for the Economic Development Committee. 

The mandate of the Committee is to:

  • Make recommendations to Council on various issues related to the Committee’s objectives;
  • To service as an advisory, resource, and information support group to Town Council, and the Chief Administrative Officer.
  • Assist the Town with their Business Growth Strategy by participating in the Community Ambassador Program and following the Community Ambassador Code of Conduct; and
  • Work to enhance the quality of life in the Town.
  • Encourage and explore innovative, entrepreneurial, and forward-thinking approaches to economic development and creative partnerships that support business growth, job creation, and investment attraction, provided such initiatives remain within the Committee’s advisory capacity and the policies and procedures of the Town.
