The Town has many different types of facilities to rent to the public for sporting activities, meetings, parties, and special occasions. Check out some of our facilities that are available to rent and learn how to book rentals.

Maitland Recreation Centre - 190 Suncoast Drive East
  • Over 70,000 square feet
  • Accessible elevator
  • NHL-sized ice surface available year-round, with viewing area, ice schedule
  • A five-lane 25-meter lap pool
  • On-deck whirlpool and sauna
  • Gymnasium
  • Indoor track
  • Wellness area consisting of cardio and strength training equipment
  • Aerobic studio

 Bannister Park Ball Diamonds - 180 McDonald St
  • Three baseball diamonds at our newly renovated Bannister Park location that are accommodating for users of all ages and skill levels
  • Hyundai Diamond 220' Corners
  • Leis Lumber Diamond 240' Corners
  • Lions Diamond 320' Corners
  • Asphalt parking is available off McDonald St., as well as a gravel lot off Eldon St.
  • Bleacher seating is available for spectators
  • Covered pavilion with washroom facilities
  • Full-sized playground and outdoor skatepark

Bannister Park Ball Diamonds
 John O'Keefe Ball Diamond - 300 Eldon St.
  • A medium-sized baseball diamond ideal for youth hardball/fastball and recreational slo pitch - 230' Corners
  • Gravel parking located off Eldon St.
  • Outdoor portable toilets are available
  • Bleacher seating is available for spectators
 Bannister Park Soccer Pitch - 180 McDonald St.
  • Our adult soccer pitch is located at our newly renovated Bannister Park
  • Asphalt parking is available off McDonald St., as well as a gravel lot off Eldon St.
  • Bleacher seating is available for spectators
  • Covered pavilion with washroom facilities
  • Full-sized playground and outdoor skatepark

 Rotary Soccer Pitches - 190 Suncoast Dr. East
  • Located outside the Maitland Recreation Centre, there are six U9-sized fields, two U10/U11 fields, and one U12 field
  • Bleacher seating is available on most sidelines
  • Indoor and outdoor washroom facilities
  • Full-sized playground

MRC Soccer Field 
 Pickleball Courts
  • Located in Columbus Park, there are six courts available for public use
  • No booking required
  • The paddle system is used for fair rotational play
  • Court rules, code of conduct, and paddle holder use are posted on-site 
  • Limited parking is available in a small parking lot off Balvina Drive East

Pickleball Courts

Tennis Courts - 80 Victoria St. North
  • Located in Victoria Park, there are two public courts available
  • No booking required
  • Features a playground, splash pad and a covered pavilion with washrooms

Pavilions 
Any of the Town's Pavilions may be rented for private events. In order to rent a Pavilion, please fill out the Pavilion Reservation Form. 
 Council Chambers and Parks (Wedding Ceremony)

The Council Chambers may be rented for wedding ceremonies. To book the Council Chambers, please fill out the Park Wedding Ceremony Application Form.
