The Town actively enforces Parking By-Law 35 of 2025 to ensure order and safety for vehicles, pedestrians, and residents.
Parking Lots Available for Public Use:
Free parking lots are available for public use at the following locations:
- 35 South Street (Livery Theatre Parking Lot)
- 34 Stanley Street
- 58 Courthouse Square (Lighthouse Street Parking Lot, North of the Library)
- 9 Victoria Street North (Knox Presbyterian Church Parking Lot)
- 38 and 44 North Street (Service Ontario and Troyan and Fincher Parking Lot)
Winter Parking:
No parking is permitted on any street between 2 AM and 7 AM from November 15 to March 15, inclusive. This restriction allows our equipment operators to clear snow and treat roadways (salting and sanding) quickly and safely. Any vehicle that interferes with snow-clearing operations may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner’s expense.
Please note: It is an offence to shovel snow onto the road or sidewalk from your property.
