Piping Down the Sun
Join the Celtic Blue Higlanders Pipe Band as they "Pipe Down the Sun" every Friday evening during the summer. This annual tradition starts in early July and runs weekly (weather permitting) until the end of August. The entertainment begins about 1 hour before sunset. This event draws hundreds of people each night to Rotary Cove on our picturesque waterfront. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy a special ending to your day. The Huron County Museum and Historic Gaol
This first-class community museum offers a wide range of special interest, and early settlement and development of Huron County exhibits. The Historic Goal once served as the County Jail, now this unique octagonal building is a National Historic Site.
