The Yard Waste Depot will be closed for the winter on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
The Town of Goderich operates a Yard Waste Depot at the Public Works Yard at 361 Cambridge Street, 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The gates automatically open and close daily. A buried sensor will open the gates from the inside should the gates close.
Acceptable items include:
- Garden Waste
- Grass
- Twigs (Less then 1 meter in length and 2cm in diameter).
- Spring and Fall yard cleanup.
- No Plastic, Garbage, Stumps, Trees or Branches.
Mid-Huron Recycling Centre will take all yard waste (including trees) for a fee. Hours of operation are Tuesday to Saturday 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Last load will be accepted 30 minutes prior to closing.
Please Note: Leaf collection is not coordinated with waste and recycling collection days.
