The Goderich Fire Department is committed to delivering exceptional service while maintaining fiscal responsibility for our taxpayers. We provide comprehensive ongoing training in all aspects of structural firefighting and other core functions. Our routine training programs include, but are not limited to:
- Live Fire Training, Ventilation, Accountability
- Auto Extrication
- Medical Training, including CPR, Defibrillation, First Aid, and Oxygen Administration
- Firefighter Recruit Training
- Driver Training
- Pump, Tanker, Aerial, and Rescue Operations Training
- NFPA 1001 - Firefighter 1 & 2 Curriculum
- Fire Officer Training and Development
- Specialty Training Programs, such as Hazardous Material Responses (Awareness), Shore-Based Water Rescue, Carbon Monoxide Testing, and more
