Open Air Burning
Open air burning in the Town of Goderich is regulated by By-law 124 of 2016. The Fire Chief may institute a burn ban at any time, as may be deemed necessary in the opinion of the Fire Chief, and it is in the interests of public safety. No person, organization, partnership, company or group shall be entitled to a burn permit during a burn ban. If you wish to have an Open Burn, please notify Fire Chief Jeff Wormington with the following information:
- Your name
- Your cell number
- Location of burn
- Time of burn
