The Town utilizes Cloudpermit for managing planning-related applications digitally. This system facilitates a seamless transition to a paperless process. With Cloudpermit, you can:

• Submit, review, and approve planning applications.
• Maintain centralized communication.
• Circulate planning applications both internally and externally
• Access maps integrated with GIS.

Information and Advisory Services:

• Provides expert guidance to Council, landowners, the public, and the development industry on land use planning matters.

Administration and Regulation:

• Oversees the Town's Official Plan and Zoning By-Law.
• Manages the development approvals process.

Research and Policy Evaluation:

• Conducts research on various land use planning topics.
• Evaluates changes in Provincial policy and addresses emerging issues impacting economic, environmental, and social factors.

Community Development and Preservation:

• Engages in heritage preservation and urban design.
• Promotes economic development and natural environment conservation.
