Please be advised that By-Law No. 20 of 1989 prohibits parking on any street in the Town of Goderich between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. from November 15th, 2019 to March 15th, 2020 inclusive.
It is an offence under the Highway Traffic Act to push snow onto any roadway. Snow must be placed on your own property, not on neighbouring properties or pushed onto or across the street.

The Public Works Department will be picking up leaves this fall commencing the week of October 14, 2019. The leaf pickup is NOT coordinated with garbage pickup.
Leaves are to be placed at the curb for the leaf vacuum equipment (do not bag leaves).
Please note the Yard Waste Depot, located at 361 Cambridge Street, will be closed as of November 2, 2019.

The Huron Arts and Heritage Network board produced these 5 podcast tours of historic Goderich.  These were researched by David Yates and written by Paul Cuifo.  Production and recording was done by Cara Stephenson and Matt Loft.

EAC Water Filling StationThe Town of Goderich Environmental Action Committee was formed in the spring of 2019 as an advisory committee to Council on various issues related to the environment.
The Environmental Action Committee is proud to be working with the Goderich Rotary Club to take steps to reduce the amount of single-use waste in Goderich. Reusable branded water bottles are now available for purchase at the tourism office, and new water refill stations have been installed in the Courthouse...
