Goderich in Provincial Emergency and Stay-at-Home Order

The Province announced that the Huron-Perth Public Health would be moving from the Provincewide Emergency Brake  to a Provincial Emergency and a Stay-At-Home Order. The transition to theProvincial Emergency and a Stay-At-Home Order takes effect on Thursday, April 8 at 12:01 a.m. 2021 and will run until at least June 2, 2021. More information can be found here.

Goderich Town Hall is closed to the public until further notice. While the office is closed, appointments for marriage licenses, commissioning of documents, lottery licensing or cemetery bookings will not be offered.  You can still reach Town staff by calling 519-524-8344, Monday through Friday from 8 AM – 4 PM

The following municipal departments are deemed essential service:

  • Airport;
  • Childcare Centre;
  • Fire;
  • Maitland Cemetery;
  • Law Enforcement;
  • Planning Development Services;
  • Public Works; and
  • Veolia Water Operations and Wastewater Treatment
  • Yard Waste Depot
